Match fixing is an action or practice of dishonestly determining the outcome of a match before it is played. There is a variety of reason for this, but the most common is in exchange for a payoff from gamblers. Players might also intentionally perform poorly to get an advantage in the future, such as a better draft pick, or an easier opponent in a playoff. A player might also play poorly to rig handicap system. There are many Indian players who have been found guilty in this act. Probably you know some of them after that IPL tragedy but there are few more.
1. Mohammed Azharuddin

Mohammed Azharuddin was born to Mohammad Azizuddin and mother Yousuf Sultana on 8th of February, 1963 in Hyderabad, state of Andhra Pradesh, India. He completed his schooling from the famous All Saint High School in Hyderabad, and graduated from Nizam College, under Osmania University, in Hyderabad.Azhar received his inspiration to become a national level cricket player from his grand father Mir Vajehuddin and was selected in Indian Cricket team in the year 1984. He played his first test match against England at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on 31st of December 1984

3. Manoj Prabhakar

Manoj Prabhakar is a former Test and ODI cricketer who has played for the Indian national cricket team. Manoj was born on 15th April, 1963 in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. Manoj successfully pursued his interests in cricket, beginning at the first-class level, and then moving on to become a regular in the Indian side since the early 1990’s. The major teams that Manoj Prabhakar represented are India, Delhi and county cricket for Durham. Well, now he is working for ABP news.

Ajay jadega was born on 1 February 1971 in Jamnagar, Gujarat in Jadeja family linked with rulers of Nawanagar. He was a regular in the Indian cricket team between 1992 and 2000, playing in 15 Test matches and 196 One Day Internationals. His cricketing achievements were overshadowed by a 5-year ban for match-fixing

5. Shanthakumaran Sreesanth

Shanthakumaran Sreesanth is a former Indian cricketer. He was a right-arm fast-medium-pace bowler and a right-handed tail-ender batsman. In first class cricket, he played for Kerala and in the Indian Premier League, he played for Rajasthan Royals. He is also the first Kerala Ranji player to have played Twenty20 cricket for India. In September 2013, he was banned for life from playing Cricket by the BCCI, for his involvement in spot-fixing in the 2013 IPL season. Sreesanth is making his debut as an actor in the upcoming movie Big Picture.
