9 Indian Actresses Who Are Smokers In Real Life..

Here are 9 Actresses who have thrown the smoking is injurious to health warning out of the windows and require a daily dose of nicotine. These cigarette flaunting stars have made it a point to smoke on the sets and in public. In the case of one Indian Actress, she even light one up in a charity event for children.

1. Manisha Koirala.

Once a top shot actress, the lady has been recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. But that hasn’t stopped her from quitting the cancer stick. A chain-smoker, she was spotted by the paparazzi sitting with a ciggy on her wedding day. The picture has gone viral and has stayed so for quite sometime. After all, down here in India, not everybody gets a chance to take a puff with sindoor on their forehead.

2. Rani Mukhrjee.

Here is one actress who neither you nor your mother would believe is a chain smoker. It is true, Rani can’t start her day without lighting one up! Her family does not approve of this habit, all her efforts to quit has back fired. In an interview Rani said that she needs to smoke at least one cigarette everyday in the morning as it helps her with good digestion.
Good Digestion? Yeah Right!

3. Tanuja.

This yesteryear actress shocked everybody, when she was found smoking at a public charity event which was held for children. Not many are going to care that she is smoking. But at a charity event with kids around? Seriously? What impression will be left on those little guys? She too has tried a lot to quit smoking, but she says that she can’t function without her daily dose of nicotine.

4. Kangua Ranaut.

The actress, popular for her role in the movie ‘Gangster’ and has been seen smoking heavily in the movie ‘Fashion’ and has equally been seen smoking in real life too. Kangana Ranaut is famous for her depressed, pipe smoking roles in the cine world. In films like Fashion, Tanu Weds Manu and Gangster, she’s played the troubled female protagonist. But very few know that the actress is a chain smoker in real life too. Kangana even stood up openly against the ban on smoking. She also went on record to say smoking is a personal choice and should never be banned. Hope your lungs will hold up long enough to protest the next ban on cigarettes in the Modi regime.

5. Konkona Sen Sharma.

It looks like all the Bong divas in Bollywood have something special for smoking. The first name to come up on the Bong list is Konkana Sen. Konkana is an active smoker and she was quoted saying she found it very difficult to resist smoking during her first pregnancy. “The pregnancy meant a complete change in lifestyle. I used to be a smoker, overnight I couldn’t smoke or drink at all,” she said in an interview.

6. Sushmita Sen.

Another Bong on the list, this ‘Smoking’ beauty also happens to be a Former Miss Universe. Sushmita has been spotted many times smoking in public. She claims to be trying hard to quit the habit. She is said to be a heavy smoker and is also said to be in constant worry of her mother.Don’t worry Sush! Most of us are constant worries of our mothers!

7. Rupa Ganguly.

Third Bong on this list. What is up with these people? The popular actress of the Bengali movie industry was last seen playing Ileana D’Cruz’s mother in Barfi. A heavy smoker and apparently cannot give up on smoking cigarettes. She too is trying hard to get rid of the habit.

8. Tanisha.

Tanishaa, better known as Kajol’s sister was one of the contestants in Bigg Boss 7 where she has been seen constantly flaunting a cigarette packet. Once titled ‘Angel of the House’ in Bigg Boss, her relationship with other contestants had taken a dive as she started openly flaunting cigarettes in front of the 84 cameras in the house all for a tom-boy image. Breaking the house rules, not caring a damn of what Sallu Bhai has to say and other antics has made her name history. Seriously, looks like even Google is showing her on its second page!
