8 Things Which Happen In Every Boys Hostel..

A guy living in a hostel has a lot on his plate. Staying away from family, trying to accommodate with new people, washing dirty clothes, eating horrible mess food, saving money and all other stuff.
But overcoming all these obstacles, guys do manage to make the most out of their time living in a hostel and most acknowledge it as one of the best learning experiences.
So here we have compiled a list, describing things that happen in every boys hostel or umm…SHOULD happen :P

1. All Night Gaming 

All night gaming is the most common form of entertainment in a boys hostel. All you need is a laptop, a mouse, an internet connection and BOOOM….you’re into the battlefield.

2. Gossip 

Every guy’s room has, at one point or the other, been the hub of tons of gossip about college, professors, placements, girls, administration pretty much the entire Universe !!!

And it sure looks as if it is the most important group discussion in the world.

3. Magggiiiiiii

Whether it is banned or not…maggi holds a special place in the heart of every hosteler.
The smell of maggi attracts flocks of guys who look to maggi to satisfy their hunger. And hardly can they be blamed, given the kind of food they are treated to in the hostel mess.

4. Group Study

Group study is supposed to be…well, STUDY !!
But at times it turns out into something totally different..DON’T ASK .

5. Birthdays

Birthdays are supposed to be fun, right ??
Well they are fun..unless of course, its your birthday Poor little beings, smashed to death on the anniversary of their birth ! But hey…its fun.

6. Romeo-Juliet Ki Baatein 

Well, every boys hostel has got its fair share of romantics…the majnoos who can’t wait for midnight so that they can call their lover and chat the whole night.

7. Smoke…And Invite Everyone 

There’s always a bunch of supposedly “cool dudes” who can smoke for longer than it takes for Internet Explorer to open irctc website.
And they are always excited about smoking with somebody new, coz you see…that brings more people into the “cool dudes” party ! So much so that they are ready to have a packet with a person they met 10 seconds ago, now that’s bonding quickly !!
Smoking is injurious to health.... wait what??

8. Have A Tussle With The Authorities

They always have an agenda to fix, and that’s why they have
Well, its not as much as a past time as much as a necessity…but mind you, guys are always ready to take the law in their hands for almost everything from mess menu to drinking water to bathrooms…and who can blame them.

Back in 2014, Paddington came out of absolutely nowhere to become one of my favourite films of the year, a real family treat that was warm, pitch perfect and genuinely laugh out loud funny.
